Nardi Simpson is a Yuwaalaraay storyteller and performer living in Sydney. Training as a musician, Nardi began her artistic journey as a songwriter and performer with vocal duo Stiff Gins. This has seen her travel both nationally and internationally for over twenty-three years releasing four albums, two singles, an EP and countless compliations during that time.

Buddy Knox, Mark Atkins, and Nate Weatherall are highly respected musicians in their respective fields.
Mark Atkins, on the other hand, is an internationally recognised didgeridoo player, master storyteller, composer, and artist. His music is a fusion of traditional and contemporary styles, which has earned him numerous accolades.
Buddy Knox is a celebrated Aboriginal singer, songwriter, musician, and storyteller. He has been recognised for his contributions to the music industry, particularly in preserving and promoting Aboriginal culture through his music.
Nate Weatherall is an artist, music producer and youth worker from Armidale with extensive experience facilitating hiphop, music production and songwriting workshops for young people of all ages and backgrounds.

Aleshia is a Wiradjuri artist and curator based in Mudgee, NSW. Strong matriarchs influence her work as she aims to showcase First Nations perspectives to her audiences.
This workshop offers the opportunity to learn about the cultural significance of possum skins and to create a painted skin using techniques taught by Aleshia.

Grant Writing
The grant writing workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to build their confidence in writing grants and funding applications. The workshops will support the growth of the already built relationship with the LALC and their community.
Topics to be covered in the workshop include the grant landscape, where to find money, what to do before you start (including consultation & project plans), how to apply, budgets,
letters of support. Practical resources are provided for participants to adopt and include soft copies of project mapping tools, project plans and budgets.
